NADIA BOUWER | INTERIOR DESIGN

Good design encourages a viewer to want to learn more.
— Alexander Isley

I work as an Interior Designer, where I support the design process from early concepts through to the finer details. My day-to-day includes assisting with floor plans, technical drawings, presentations, and selecting finishes and objects that complete the space. I also contribute to the OS&E side—sourcing and coordinating the operational items that make a space not just beautiful, but functional too.

Currently, I’m involved in two exciting projects in Kenya and Tanzania, and assisting designers on a day-to-day basis.

I’m inspired by nature, earthy textures, and the beauty of imperfection—things that feel real and grounded. I’m drawn to design that feels honest and connected to its environment, where every element has a story or purpose.

I recently completed my Bachelor of Design in Interior Design, gained experience in high-end residential, and completed a three-month internship at FBC before joining the team full-time.

My purpose is to create spaces that are thoughtful and quietly expressive—shaped by the imperfect perfection of nature through the simple, meaningful use of space, materials, and texture.
