Taj Safaris - Baghvan – Pench National Park
All of the furniture and handcrafts were carefully chosen to reflect the life of an Indian adventurer.
THE BRIEF
Baghvan was an existing jungle lodge situated on a Nullah, a dry Indian riverbed looking into the forest of the Pench National Park. The existing bedrooms were built in pairs with a shared wall.
THE INSPIRATION
The interiors were inspired by the life of an Indian adventurer. All of the furniture and handcrafts were carefully chosen to reflect this life. We chose a palette of soft greens, teals and turquoise. The resident peacocks helped with the colour selection.
THE RESULT
We created twelve separate rooms, creating privacy, intimacy and excitement by adding a roof-top sleeping area. We retained the personalised feel of the existing lodge by making guests feel as if they were in someone’s home.
